SD Worx appoints Sebastiaan Peeters as new CFO

The leading European HR-solutions provider SD Worx has appointed Sebastiaan Peeters as its new CFO. He succeeds Nadine Aerts, who is leaving the company at the end of June. Sebastiaan, who has been with SD Worx since 2023, is part of the executive committee and reports directly to CEO Kobe Verdonck.

SD Worx records double-digit growth rates in 2024

SD Worx, the leading European provider of HR and payroll software and services, has announced its financial results for 2024. The consolidated revenues increased by 11.6%, from EUR 1.058 billion in 2023 to EUR 1.180 billion in 2024. The consolidated adjusted EBITDA grew by 28.2% from EUR 181.6 million to EUR 232.7 million. The consolidated net profit climbed from EUR 70.1 million in 2023 to EUR 94.9 million in 2024, an increase of 35.4%.

Deadline approaches for European AI Act. Companies need to prepare

Artificial intelligence (AI) is evolving rapidly and is being applied in more and more situations, including within companies. This is why Europe is introducing the AI Act, a uniform legal framework with which all companies within Europe must comply. The law comes into effect on Feb. 2 2025 and applies to all employers. Those who do not comply risk high fines. Also in Ireland, all organisations must comply with the AI Act by no later than Sunday, Feb. 2. More than one in three employers see internal equality as the biggest challenge when it comes to remuneration

More than a third (36%) of European employers consider internal equality within the organisation to be their biggest challenge in the area of remuneration. Three out of ten employers (29%) are actively working to improve pay equality, and 31% say they have specific plans to do so in the future. On the other hand, four out of ten employers currently have no plans to tackle pay inequality. These findings and more are the results of an international survey conducted by European HR service provider SD Worx among more than 5,000 companies and 18,000 employees in 18 European countries.

21% of employees in Ireland were paid late multiple times in last 12 months

Dublin, 24th October 2024 – SD Worx Ireland, a leading payroll and HR solutions provider, today announces the results of their latest research which has revealed a trend of dissatisfaction with salary payments and processes among employees in Ireland. The research found that 21% of employees were paid late by their employers on several occasions in the last 12 months, while alarmingly, 27% reported errors in their salary calculations.

SD Worx maintains steady growth in first half of 2024

SD Worx, the leading European HR solutions provider, achieved a consolidated revenue of EUR 581.8 million in the first half of the year, an increase of 10.9% compared to the first half of 2023 (EUR 524.6 million). The consolidated adjusted EBITDA grew 36.7% from EUR 88.5 million in the first half of last year to EUR 121.0 million during the first six months of 2024. The consolidated net result increased from EUR 42.5 million in the first two quarters last year to EUR 54.9 million in the first half of this year.
