Bear Market was founded as a market stall in 2009 by Ruth and Stephen Deasy, both recently qualified architects who had to contend with the recession when trying to find work.
Seeing a gap in the market, they launched Bear Market, which has since grown to nine locations and a coffee roastery in Stillorgan. Bear Market prides themselves on their ethical and transparent supply chain and work hard to ensure that their single-origin coffees are ethically sourced.
